Tony is a member of the Doctorate programme team in Educational Psychology at University College London. His research interests include bilingualism, dyslexia, inclusive education and selective mutism. His recent research projects have focused on minority ethnic pupils in mainly white schools, training routes into teaching and young people’s representations of child development.

Prof. Sarah Crafter (School of Psychology and Counselling, Open University)
Sarah is a Professor in Cultural-Developmental Psychology at the Open University. Her broad areas of interest are around children and family migration, with an emphasis on understanding transitions to adulthood for diverse or non-normative childhoods. Her work mostly falls along two strands: i) a focus a child language brokers, who are children and young people who translate and interpret for family members following migration and ii) a focus on the care of separated child migrants as the navigate the asylum-welfare nexus. Her work is influenced by sociocultural theorising, conceptual issues around transitions, past experience and cultural identity.

Dr. Evangelia Prokopiou (University of Northampton)
Evangelia is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton. Her research interests focus on exploring cultural identities’ construction in multicultural settings and sociocultural contexts under rapid transitions. Her work is influenced by dialogical self and sociocultural theories.
